The WS-* revelation is making its way through Burton apparently. I didn’t know Anne Thomas Manes had recanted, but its good too see other analyst firms checking out the naked emperor.

You know they call it the rule of law, right, George. Oh yeah- that doesn’t apply to the dauphin, does it?

ongoing farming can only exacerbate the drought. I feel for the farmers, but we surely need to rethink land-use given global warming, whether or not its man-made.

Mark gives it to IBM with both barrels. Zero is cool, but the concern is that IBM will take more heat for its move to a new non-open source dev model, than the coolness of the tools it provides. Mark makes open source contributions from Yahoo in the proxy

This is kind of silly. With open source, companies don’t need to worry about crap like this. Paying for escrow for code – I hope commercial software fudders factor this into their indemnification claims. Yeah right

Steve – no argument from me, sir. I think Richard is a good analyst, and has a practitioner mindset. ATM has been personally vested in WS-*, so a change of perspective was always going to be harder than for others not so focused on the success of something.
Hey Fiona – likesay, you have some really good people, and “back office staff” i really rate too- like Dave Wilby, who does some writing for you. Your engagement with me has had the whiff of “2.0”….
