SAP grassroots hospitality is wonderful again. Go To Poleng Lounge.

SAP will be the first major vendor that I build my relationship with from the bottom up. IBM, Microsoft i was introduced to senior execs out of the gate. Not SAP.

Thomas began the dialogue and was just ridiculously charming and hospitable when he put me in Germany. Michael Prosceno added some corp to the mix on that trip.

Last night I had another taste of just how warm SAP people are. I went to dinner with Jeremiah Stone and his wife Tesha and it was great great fun. They took me to one of the best restaurants in San Francisco, and after some food disappoinments the previous nights this was the real mccoy. I can thoroughly recommend Poleng Lounge.

Rather amazingly after 10 or so it turns it turns into a rocking club. Sitting in there is like watching the tide go out blue and come back in purple. The manager Leonard sat with us for a bit. But the food – the cod was pornographic. I would post pics but my cable to the phone isn’t working.

I would like to say thanks once again Jeremiah and Tesha. You can rest assured I will be helping you get that wiki populated. When you come to London you’re getting the full Saint John’s Bread and Wine experience.

  1. […] While James is schmoozing his way around SAPpers, I prefer to get down and dirty with users. I’ve been taking a peek at SAPlink – developed by and for developers. Who cares? You should. […]

  2. What an evening. Great company, fantastic food, and groovy music.

Discussions on personal singularity, driving social software adoption on both sides of the firewall, heavy metal umlaut, greening the world via code, raising kids while embracing global living…

Bottom line: Redmonk is a great date. Take them out. Soon.
