What if you could search all industry analyst blogs? Mike Gotta Rocks

I have been meaning to post about a new collaborative spirit in the industry analyst business. What made me think about it was that Mike Gotta from Burton Group started commenting on my blog, helping to sharpen my analysis in some key areas. Its one thing for one of my euro analyst buddies to collaborate but quite another someone from a top tier firm. Evidently Mike doesn’t just cover collaboration as a market, he lives it as a person. Thanks Mike.
The other really cool thing about Mike is that he looks like Angelina Jolie might keep his blood in a vial… Mike Gotta and Billy Bob Thornton – separated at birth.

Today he put forward an interesting idea/solution, based on Google Co-op. That is, a search engine across industry analyst blogs – using Tekrati‘s OPML list as source.
