What I did on my holiday/vacation

Not much to be honest. It was great…

Week 1: Waiting for the Passport Agency to get Farrell’s passport back, after some delays applying for, and then processing it.

Week 2: Passport in hand, but watching with horror as UK airports turned into places where no sane parent would take a ten month old if they could help it, owing to the hassle factor.

Week 3: Farrell gets a viral infection which last about six days.

You know what? It was one my best holidays ever. What could be better than spending the whole day with my wife and son, taking walks, eating great food, and generally getting a chance to play with Farrell. Generally on weekdays I get to see him for about 45 minutes in the morning, and 30 in the evening, so it was a real treat.

The British weather was really poor but my little boy – he provided the sunshine. If that’s sentimental as Wordsworth then I am all about that. Who needs daffodils?
