The folks at LogLogic are in partnering mode. Nice win to get Network Appliance onboard.
Log storage potentially drives huge data volumes. I have already heard some terrifying stories about financial services companies logs quickly running into Terabytes.
LogRhythm, meanwhile, has made a virtue of the massive data volume issue with a hierarchical log management approach- like hiearchical storage management, with logs being stored online, nearline or archived.
Network attached storage for logs makes sense. I think we can expect more deals from LogLogic and other players in the space. Log Audit and analysis is a compliance oriented architecture function.
