They got it wrong. IBM stands for I’m By Myself, because we all work remote. 😉

When I worked at IBM (as a contractor), IBM stood for “I’ve Been Moved”. ISM (IBM aquisition, then a branch of Global Services in Canada) was “I Should Move” or “I Should’ve Moved” depending on how you felt about the merger 😉
