Doh! I told myself that in the New Year I was going to more measured, and less reactive in my blogging habits. So after spending a couple of days thinking about how to say hello to 2006 I just noticed I had actually already gone ahead with my usual event-driven rant.
What about you – what New Year’s resolutions have you already fallen down on?
I read somewhere that something like 80% of NYR’s are broken within 12 hours… seems reasonable. What have you done that you promised yourself you wouldn’t?
Oh yeah Happy New Year everyone, thanks for reading monkchips, and I hope to be more measured in 2006. I just can’t promise anything…

Dude, “New Year’s Resolution” is English for “things that won’t happen.” As such, I avoid making any. Goals are for 43things.com, not champaign-fueled early mornings.

Think of it this way James, you have set a low bar to surpass for next year’s resolution 🙂
Happy New Year!

Well, I broke my resolution not to make any New Year’s Resolutions…
As for yours, I for one hope you don’t over-measure or under-react. Your rants are one of the reasons we all love you : )
