I have certainly been to conferences where I ended up standing in the hall. Which makes me think – tablets on planes? Don’t you just hate it when you’re sitting there on a plane in cattle class trying to get some work done when the 350 pound guy in the seat directly in front of you pushes his seat back just as far as it will go, practically cracking your laptop in half, and making work almost impossible? That’s another occasion when a tablet might come in handy.
Really though i would like to ditch the laptop or tablet altogether. i have tried various PDAs and they aren’t there yet. The Orange/Scoble/Audiovox smart phone comes close, but of course, no keyboard.
