Sounds like a Marie Kondo reference. I always thought her theory was bonkers: if something doesn’t inspire joy, dispose of it. What about toilet plungers? Unpleasant to think of, or store, but awfully useful when needed.
As for “content”, the word itself captures the self-loathing and contempt the marketers feel towards their copy. It takes truly passionate people to produce compelling works, and they would never refer to their brainchildren as”content”.

@fazal i think we’re agreeing. “joy” is kind of the opposite of self-loathing. definitely agree that calling something “content” shows its not really loved.
