Dont know if we all just forgot what turbulence used to be like before planes got good at avoiding it but the stuff we hit on the way in from London was just brutal. we were basically surfing on some seriously bumpy air for about 20 minutes, descending all the time, then banking to turn out of it.
Now I need to go get some air/food to get over my jet lag.

Welcome to the Bay Area! Would be great if we could meet for a beer or dinner one day. Drop me an email, I am free tonight if you are not to jet lagged…

Jetstream, Rockies and Sierra air pockets, strong head winds, sometimes weather – going west is always fun…not…I am a nervous flier…

Dude – I’m here too at RSA. Call me on cell if you’re downtown. I leave tomorrow.
The turbulence really sucked for me too. Couldn’t believe it. I rank it up there with the three hurricane remnants I have flown through. Good to be on the ground again.
