I thought that would get your attention. Its actually just endorsing an Eclipse implementation of a standard it supports- service modelling language (SML), but that’s still pretty big news.
Cosmos is designed to make systems management integration easier, which is a good thing, and explains why Port25 is talking to it.

Java’s open source. Don’s at Microsoft. Microsoft’s doing an Eclipse project.
I think at some point in 2006 a strange cosmic event must have knocked the Earth into an alternate reality.

OK, I admit you got my attention. š Maybe, just maybe, someday MS will actually propose a project. I still think a C# IDE project at Eclipse would be a natural starting point for MS.
