Have you ever wondered what makes a serial entrepreneur, whether there are any common traits found in this breed, or perhaps more importantly, why and how to get buy-in from your wife/husband/dog because you’ll be busy every weekend for the next 18 months?
Sramana Mitra has just started a series looking at serial entrepreneurs in order to answer some of these questions- his her first two profiles are Peng Ong (founder of Interwoven) and Manoj Saxena (founder of Webify, recently acquired by IBM).
The approach is very interesting, using the tried and trusted Q&A method, but the layout could be easier to follow. Although its a series I would like to be able to read it without so much clicking back and forth.
One bug fix- I believe the Michael in question, at Informix by way of Illustra, is actually “Stonebreaker”, “Stonebraker”, not “Stonebury”.

It’s “Stonebraker”, not “breaker”. Sramana also misspelled Steve Jurvetson’s last name as Jurvison. Those to minor mistakes notwithstanding, this is an excellent interview. Thanks!

All typos are corrected, James and Mike. I had someone transcribe the interview from the Skype recording.
Btw, Sramana Mitra is not a “he”, last I checked!

Also, we have put in some natural transitions from one part to the next, which should make it easier to read.
