Why are some crafts, that seemingly should by rights be dead, not dead yet? Drewitz starts by giving us a brief history on how letterpress has shifted and adapted over the years, then somehow morphs into a talk about software and collecting and repairing vintage Porsches. There are all sorts of technically outdated crafts that are being sustained today. Some may have commercial value beyond technology obsolescence. Community has a big role to play in sustaining and maintaining these crafts.
