OSCON meetups: FLOSS lunch, RedMonk beers

Share via Twitter Share via Facebook Share via Linkedin Share via Reddit

It’s been a few years, but I used to have an OSCON tradition of getting a bunch of interesting people together for lunch, from a variety of free-software and open-source communities.

This year I’m suggesting we revive the FLOSS lunch gathering, on Wednesday of OSCON week. Let me know in the comments or via email if you’re interested. We’ve got around 35 people interested, consider it at capacity.

I’ll also be hosting a RedMonk beering, beginning around 9:30pm Wednesday at Bailey’s Taproom (213 SW Broadway, which is downtown). The place is open till midnight and we’ll likely be there till then.

If you’re thinking you need to choose between them, you’ve got another think coming. Go to both.

Update (2013/07/19): Added beering details.

Update (2013/07/22): Lunch is at capacity.
