Holy Crap, I Love the Las Vegas Airport

I had to wait in a long, but fast moving line, here at the Las Vegas airport and the styling is a bit old, but there’s plenty of natural lightening.

Those things aren’t the real thing that makes me like this airport though: there’s free wifi. Yuh!

  1. When did you leave? It took me over an hour to get through America West checkin (and they "lost" one of our bags, supposed to come today) and another hour to get through security. Even if I didn't have EVDO, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the WiFi considering we had to sprint through the terminal to make our flight!

In fact, I was just going to write today about how that was one of the WORST airports I've ever been in. It just felt like it wasn't equipped to handle the traffic it gets now.

  2. Tim,
Gotta say i'm with Cote on this one. Ok, so America West's kiosk didn't have a record of me, but the agent helped and even gave an aisle seat.
I had every intention of working at the airport with the FREE WIFI (holy cow, even tech capital SFO makes you pay for Tmobile) but ended up IM-ing someone for the better part of the hour.
My inflight experience on America West did suck. I got about 1.5 hours of sleep on the red-eye back to JFK b/c of the seat that had last been replaced in, and i'm guessing here, 1867. Rude flight attendant didn't help either. Rush hour traffice from JFK to the City was horrible.
But oh the memories of the free WIFI…..
