Just in case anyone from or at DebConf reads this, I’d appreciate any help you can offer in confirming my hotel reservation at the Hotel Tepozteco. I can’t seem to find a number to call, and while I successfully faxed in my credit card and other info back on Tuesday for my reservation (14716), I haven’t been able to confirm it and a message to [email protected] has gone unreturned. Unless I can confirm lodging, I’ll probably be unable to go to DebConf, as I’d prefer not to arrive and be homeless 😉
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated – even if it’s just a number for the hotel.

Yes, the reservations were somewhat organic – I am here safely though. I am assured (by Danese) that if you arrive Sunday though there will be room for you, as all the locals check out around 1pm and the place will be relatively deserted.

I was a bit worried before I arrived as well. This is a Mexican “people’s” resort and the reservation procedure is baroque to say the least. Safe to say you’ll have a room, however…as long as you arrive Sunday or later. The big holdup was the weekend crowd and they all leave Sunday morning, I’m told
