Thumbs Down for LAX

Can someone explain to me how LAX can not have wi-fi OR working power outlets? Or is that just the American terminal? Either way, it made for a very long 5 hour layover there yesterday, as I didn’t have the opportunity to charge the laptop after my session yesterday, and it therefore ran out of juice after about an hour. Luckily I had the iPod and Faithful. Lest you think I’m all Sox all the time, I did finish Middlesex on the way out, and was somewhat disappointed. For a Pulitzer winner, I expected more.
