Ok, now that the cat’s out of the bag, I can come clean on something: the travel information I posted last Thursday? Yeah, that was pretty much totally false. Yup, for the first time that I’m aware of, I knowingly posted false and misleading information to this space. Why? It was for a good cause, I promise.
I was actually out of the office, and I did actually have a meeting or two. But I definitely was not in Boston – I was instead a few thousand miles West, in Denver.
I was there for a surprise party for a friend of mine, and unfortunately he’s been know to stop by here every now and again, so I couldn’t take the chance that he’d get wind of my plans. Hence the blog-enabled misdirection, which, I’m happy to report, worked like a champ.
Anyhow, no more surprise parties in the foreseeable future, so it’s back to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Apologies for the temporary (and hopefully trivial) deception 😉
