A little while ago, in an interview with IBM’s John Simonds, I said that analysts need a dose of their own medicine: people telling us what we should do. At RedMonk, thanks to “being everywhere” online (in addition to face-to-face), we actually get a lot of feedback, good and bad.
To further that along, I thought I’d add yet another channel to give feedback by installing a little Get Satisfaction widget here on the blog. You should be able to see a little tab on the left side. If you click on that, you can browse ideas, questions, problems, and praises people have left. More important, you can add your own. You can also just go directly to the site or find the widget in the sidebar below.
I’ve been keeping my eye on GetSatisfaction.com for a while: all the round-corner cool kid sites (read: Web 2.0) seem to use, and it looks like a quick and easy – and more important for RedMonk’s ethos, transparent – way to handle customer service.
I’ll look forward to y’all’s input ;>
