In this episode, John and I are joined by Splunk‘s Michael Wilde. As you would expect, we spend the first half of the episode talking about Splunk. In addition to a general overview, John and I have several questions around the use of Splunk for compliance, SplunkBase (and how it related to collaborative IT management), and other topics.
We then cover the IT management news such as: Solarwinds buying Kiwi, Sun buying Q-layers, the AWS Console, Twitter-squatting, and the prospects of the open source IT management vendors in the upcoming year.
Thanks again to “thewilde” for joining us!
