"Q: I found a bug, I have a patch! A: That's awesome. You rule! Due to legal requirements, we can only accept patches verbatim into our release if you file a copyright assignment to Evenflow, Inc. Alternatively, you can release your patch into the public domain, that allows us to sidestep all legal issues. Don't worry we'll still credit you in our CONTRIBUTORS file
This is similar to the way GNU does things." -
some marketing-speak snuck its way in here, but it's a solid Q&A and good news generally

"BeejiveIM is beautifully designed, expertly implemented, and offers a new level of reliability. Could it be that we finally have a viable XMPP client for the iPhone? Yes."
-
"It's not about booting faster, it's about booting in 5 seconds." – this would be seriously differentiating.

"My absolute favourite add-on is the Presenter Console. This adds a new display mode to Impress so that, when using an external monitor (i.e. a projector) the laptop screen differs from the external display. While the audience sees the slides being presented, the presenter sees the slide sequence, speaker notes and a timer and is able to navigate directly to slides if necessary. It's a familiar function with some other packages but it revolutionises Impress as a presentation tool and I have been using it constantly since it first appeared." – i am not a fan of Impress, but this would potentially be very useful
