your short commentary on the X6* is very timely as my boss holds your opinion as well – his desire is more screen resolution (aka pixel density). But if you want perfection from any vendor, you will be waiting a very long time.

My daughter Jen is happy with her X60. “Mako” from MIT’s Media Lab uses a spiffy X60s to run Ubuntu for his work on OLPC.
