just used this to port my personal WordPress’ DB after, for some unknown reason, i couldn’t import the MySQL dump file - appears to have worked like a champ

so the new Macs a.) run wicked hot, b.) randomly shut down, and c.) can *melt* their power cords? am i missing something here? why should i not stick w/ my Thinkpad?
