Chat Ajax w/ Bill Higgins

Share via Twitter Share via Facebook Share via Linkedin Share via Reddit

Last time I was out to Raleigh-Durham1, I was lucky enough to grab some dinner w/ IBM’s Bill Higgins. Over some Mexican food, we chatted about Bill’s project Jazz and a host of Ajax related subjects. You may remember Bill from such articles as “Ajax and REST, Part 1” and “Ajax and REST, Part 2” – both of which are recommended reading for those interested in either of those subjects.

But while articles might scale better than dinner, they’re not the most interactive medium in the world. Thus it’s good news that Bill’s doing a general Ajax and RESTian chat. I’ll be attending, schedule permitting, and think it’ll be an interesting discussion. The catch is that you have to register for it, but if you can stomach that I’m sure it’ll be worth the effort.

Disclaimer: IBM’s a client, and I’ve known Bill (via blogs, anyway) for a while now.

  1. Trivia question: what was the secondary motive for this trip to RDU?
Trivia answer: The visit was part of the eventual solution for the “car impounded during the return trip from Maine” debacle. [back]
