Though Startup Camp gave it a run for its money, Mashup Camp is still the reigning title holder for my favorite conference to attend. As a result, I’m going to break one of my own rules to be there. Generally, I try not to travel from Christmas week through the second to last week of January (last week I’m usually at Lotusphere) to give myself a break from a fall travel schedule that is usually absurd. This year’s been no exception, as I’ve been on the road nearly every week for two months, and will be in all likelihood through Christmas when everything’s factored in.

But Mashup Camp is definitely worth the exception, so as a result I’ve already signed up to attend the January 17th and 18th conference, held in Boston/Cambridge at the Hotel@MIT. Definitely interested to see how the East Coast vibe plays versus the West Coast. So if you’re in the Boston area, or can make it out there to what I believe is one of the best conferences going, hop on over and register. Space is limited, going fast, and so on and so forth.

  1. A hearty second to your “favorite conference” vote. This is definitely not one to miss. I’m kinda bummed that it’s limited to 250 people again (because of the venue), but that’s worth it for the infusion of East Coasters.

I’ll be there, if I have any say in it at all. If so, I look forward to seeing you there.

  2. Chris: yeah, the cap on venue can be difficult to manage, but David and Doug do usually find a way to get folks in.

will definitely look to catch in Jan.

  3. i would really like to come. you think redmonk can afford the tix?
