I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, but kept getting caught up in other entries, news, etc, but to anyone and everyone who’s commented here – thank you. I was a bit worried with my post here that I may have given the indication that I don’t appreciate the interaction, the feedback that you all bring, and I want to be clear that nothing could be further from the truth. I couldn’t be any happier with the state of comments around here; yes, we’re spammed but that’s more or less controllable, we have only 1 or 2 trolls, and for the 367 entries I’ve made as of today I’ve received 457 comments. That’s a great ratio.
We’ve had celebrity commenters such as Adam Bosworth, Bob Sutor, Jonathan Schwartz and Miguel de Icaza (and undoubtedly others I’m forgetting), but volumes of comparably excellent insights from other folks. I’ve also found a lot of great new blogs via my comments. For those missing out on the action, I have a comments feed here, and otherwise I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks, the comments are appreciated, and please keep them coming.
