From the files of things I wanted but didn’t realize it comes Alan Taylor’s (of Amazon Light 4.0 fame, just do a search in this space) latest invention, del.icio.us Linkbacks. Put simply, it’s a bookmarklet (bookmark that performs some function) that takes any link, queries del.icio.us and returns who’s commented, what their comments were, and what they tagged it with. It’s not the Google Suggest-style tagging autocomplete that some have been waiting for, but it’s very handy. No longer do I have to tag my own entries to see if someone’s been del.icio.us-ing them.
