i agree with some of this, and there are some good ideas, but as most blanket advisory goes it's a bad fit – IMO – for a substantial number of startups. PR folks have a real role to play in the relationship that we enjoy with many startup organizations. could they do it on their own? sure. but i could, in theory, do our bookkkeeping and accounting. but that would be a terrible waste of my time, and i would do it terribly.
