Via the dreaded O’Hare, I’m off to Westchester for two days with a lot of the good folks from IBM. For those scoring at home, that’s 2.5 days out of the office this week, then 1 day on 12.14 (though I’m sorely tempted to extend the trip and hit ApacheCon), and that’s it through late January.
While I’ve got a good reason or two to not want to be out of the office this week, I look forward to catching up with some of the IBMers I spend a lot of time with on the phone, not to mention my colleague – the new dad.
It’s the usual drill if you need to get me while I’m out of the office: cell is 617.320.9757, and email is sogrady at redmonk.com. I’ll be back in Denver late Thursday night, and in the office on Friday.

Oh come on, go to Apachecon. I am going for Monday and then flying up to San Francisco. One more flight won’t kill you š

Ian’s right. Wouldn’t you rather be in San Diego sunshine than Denver snow for a day? Plus, the sessions look great. Come by Sleepycat’s BoF on Monday night, we’ll feed you some free-as-in-beer beer and pizza.
