Yet another entry in my continuing quest to find my developer friends new, exciting employment opportunities. This month’s candidate is a 8 year dev, with experience in the old hotness (Lisp), the new hotness (Ruby), and the standards (C, C++. Java, Perl, Python, PHP). In particular, this gent has spent a fair time with the Ruby on Rails framework and the tools that support it. He’s Denver based, but would – I’m sure – be comfortable working remotely. To clarify a couple of the ground rules in terms of how/why I post these types of job opportunities, because a few of you have asked: if you’re a developer that I’ve worked with or interacted with in any way, shape or form – just go ahead and drop me a line. Happy to do the favor, and while I’m not Monster or Careerbuilder we do ususually get a couple of responses – some interesting. If you’re a developer I haven’t been in touch with, feel free, but the response might be a bit slow. On the hiring side of the equation, we’re happy to help identify potential candidates for clients, but can’t necessarily help if you’re not a client – just to keep our responsibilities manageable.
