Jonathan: as mentioned, I’m a big fan of your Rails Day project, yubnub. After a couple of days though, I’m using it less for the simple reason of latency. An example: if I want to check a domain registration, I don’t head over to netsol, wait for it to load, then query it. I simply ALT-TAB over to my terminal window, and do a whois on the item in question. I’d like for yubnub to be just like that. But how? For my part, I’d love to see it as a Firefox toolbar extension – something like the Googlebar Lite. This would let me use it more like the CLI interface it’s intended to mimic, rather than just another website. Anyway, that’s my two cents worth. Still love the idea.
