The folks that have been here for a while probably know that I’m a fan of Mozilla’s Firefox browser – here’s my “switch” post from July – and I’m sure that many of you saw the news that it just made version 1.0. But this bit from Bloglines really indicates, I think, the traction the browser is getting:
Over the past few months, we’ve watched users steadily switch away from Netscape and Internet Explorer to Firefox. Back in July, while Firefox was still in beta, it had grown to over 5% of our traffic. Today, Firefox represents 20% of requests to Bloglines. (link)
It’s, in simple terms, the best browser available right now. So if you haven’t gotten it yet, I recommend picking it up here.
