Heading way down to the Tristate area for some personal stuff this weekend, then off to Westchester Monday/Tuesday for an analyst event. As a result, I’m loading up on the podcasts/audibooks:
1. Malcolm Gladwell – Human Nature – Gladwell from the PopTech! conference (which unfortunately I couldn’t snag an invite for) – thanks to atariboy for the heads us on this one
2. Engadget Podcast – What can I say? I love gadgets, and Engadgets got the scoop on all of them.
3. Neal Stephenson – The Diamond Age – have read Cryptonomicon (among my top 3 books ever, BTW), Snow Crash, Quicksilver and am halfway through The Confusion but this is the first book, by Stephenson or anyone else, that I’ve bought on audio without having read the text version first
I’m still not a big fan of the talk show format of many of the Podcasts – just like I’m not a fan of talk radio in general – but the breadth of content is expanding rapidly and some of the shows are just beginning to hit their stride so I’m trying to be patient and give them a chance.
Anyway, have a great weekend everyone.
