Robinhood Cove

As of five minutes ago when I turned my vacation autoresponder on, I am officially on vacation for the next three weeks. My throttle’s been wide open the last several months, and in order to charge the batteries for the fall sprint, I’m going offline for maintenance until the 29th. No email, no phone calls.

With my wife’s back surgery pending – the enormous outpouring of support from all of you has been incredible, incidentally, we are both very touched – we don’t have any big plans at the moment. Which is just fine by me. If I do nothing more than cruise the Kennebec and Sheepscot in search of striper and bluefish or kill a few lazy days on the dock with a brace of Belgian beers cooling in the cove, listening to the Sox, I will be more than content. That’s one of many benefits to living in a place that is beautiful: not leaving is no loss.

There’s going to be a lot going on when I get back, but there’s time yet for all of that. For now, enjoy the rest of your summer, and I’ll check back in with you in a few weeks.

For RedMonk clients that have business that won’t wait until I get back, get in touch with Marcia (marcia @ redmonk.com); she’ll be able to route you appropriately.
