Maine Today, Boston Tomorrow

tough day

As reported on Twitter, that’s about as good a two day stretch as you’ll find in this state. Temps in the 80s, bright sun, cooling breezes. Excepting tonight’s humidity, the weather’s been exceptional.

Which was timely, because after taking Thursday and Friday off because of the previous weekend’s schedule, both days were miserable. Mid 50’s and raining, which was not just a problem for my boating plans but for the lawn as well, which couldn’t be cut in spite of its height.

But all good things must come to an end, and this weekend is rapidly drawing to a close. For those of you looking for me this week, I’ll be down in Boston Monday through Wednesday for the Enterprise 2.0 show at the convention center. Evenings are sold out, with David Berlind’s event tomorrow, dinner with Boston friends on Tuesday, and Fenway with Lauren and others on Wednesday. But I have some flexibility with the days, so drop a line if you’d like to connect. Particularly if you’re at Enterprise 2.0.

Otherwise, I’ll be back in the office on Thursday, with a couple of days to catch up before my Dad and I embark on a fishing expedition to Northern Maine next week.

Update: Since a few people have asked, I’ll be arriving in Boston tomorrow around 10:30 off the Downeaster. I’ve got two calls, one at 11:15 and another at 12, and will be heading over to Enterprise 2.0 shortly thereafter.
