no trackpad, but otherwise a good potential replacement for the Thinkpad. speaking of, anybody have any idea when Lenovo’s releasing an X-series with an LED backlit screen? that’s what i really want, truth be known. that and an SSD.

don’t think i agree with this. first, the technologies tend to vary more significantly than you’d expect. second, ISVs tell me all the time that Linux != Linux. Ian’s made that point about the distribution problem before.
