Reid State Park in Winter

Greetings from what will in all likelihood be my summer residence for the second straight year, Georgetown, ME. I didn’t arrive until about 11:30 last night, thanks to a family engagement in the Boston area, but I slept in and then spent the day with my parents who were also up for the weekend. We hit Freeport (50% off sale at the Patagonia outlet = trouble), grabbed some lunch, and then I napped most of the afternoon. It’s been very relaxing, particularly because the entire property is covered in an icy snow shell, making getting around more than a bit problematic (my sincere thanks to Marcia for letting me park at her place, because there’s no way I would have gotten up our driveway).

Anyway, tomorrow’s schedule calls for a leisurely drive down to Boston sometime around midday, then maybe grabbing dinner with a friend, then catching the evening JetBlue flight back to Denver. Assuming that’s not cancelled, which seems to be a possibility. I won’t be working tomorrow, so look for me to be back in the office Tuesday.
