Took a little while, but I think I finally have my schedule for the week ahead finalized. So here’s how it breaks down, for those that are interested and/or want to avoid the flights that I’m on.
Tuesday 2/13
Departing Denver (in theory) at 11:40 AM, arriving in NYC/JFK @ 5:17 PM on JetBlue. Dinner’s (currently) unbooked but will likely go to my brother if he’s available, given that he’s kindly providing lodging for my two night stay.
Wednesday 2/14 (AKA Valentine’s Day)
No, I don’t know who does the scheduling for these things, but at least I’m single for it this year and don’t have to order flowers from the road (last year’s cost a small fortune, but were reasonably well received). Will head over to the conference formerly known as LinuxWorld in the morning, and have various meetings scheduled over the day and a half I’ll be attending. Wednesday, I’m delighted to report, I’ll be joining Coop and Luis for dinner – no word yet on whether they’re bringing me flowers.
Thursday 2/15
Ungodly early (7:30 AM) breakfast with the folks from Port 25 (yeah, the Microsoft guys), then attending the show. At noon, I hop the Acela (I love trains, and this is the best one in the states) back to Boston, where I get in a bit before 4 PM. Dinner is tentatively booked, and I’ll be staying my now default choice for the Boston area, the Hotel Marlowe.
Friday 2/16
Quick drive up to Sun’s Burlington campus for an analyst day there, and back to Boston for the afternoon. Dinner is booked, but I may be around in the afternoon.
Saturday 2/17
Check out of the Marlowe, then entertain myself around Boston for the day (mostly unbooked). Attending a cousin’s engagement party in the evening, and then heading straight from there to the family compound in Maine late Saturday.
Sunday 2/18
In Maine with my folks, who will be up for President’s Week.
Monday 2/19
Vacation day: drive back down to Boston, (tentative) late lunch with a friend. Departing Logan at 9:25 PM arriving in Denver at 11:40 PM.
Questions? Lunch/dinner/coffee/drink requests (I don’t usually do breakfast)? You know where to find me.
