Thanks to comments from Danese and Simon last night (appreciate that, both of you), I’d already decided to make the trek down to Oaxtepec, but I’m pleased to say that I just got a confirmation from one of the conference organizers. Everything, it would seem, is in order so I’ll be off for Mexico in a few minutes. No idea what the connectivity situation is like down there – though I can’t imagine they’d cut geeks off from network access – so you may be hearing from me sporadically. Anyhow, I’m going to shut down to conserve my precious juice in the event that I need to laptop once I’m in Mexico. Looking forward to meeting up w/ Mepis’ Warren and his girlfriend for the ride down there.
