Collaborative Development of a…Presentation?

Share via Twitter Share via Facebook Share via Linkedin Share via Reddit

As some of you may know, I’m currently slated to give one of the keynote addresses at next week’s Zend/PHP Conference in San Fran, along with far more august speakers (to borrow Adam’s words) such as Adam Bosworth, Marc Andreessen, Rod Smith. The topic of my discussion is as previously mentioned “PHP: Simplicity and Lesscode” – hardly a shocking topic for those of you who follow my writings here, I know.

But as I’ve been putting together the deck, I’ve lamented the fact that while I’ve got some good material, there’s a ton more I don’t have access to, residing as it does in the heads of lesscode oriented developers everywhere. But then I remembered that one of the Friends of RedMonk, Ryan Tomayko, actually represents a whole community of those types of folks over at lesscode.org. Might they be interested in participating and contributing to the presentation? I first put the question to Ryan, and he very graciously allowed me to ask them directly in the post you’ll find here. If any of you reading have something to say on the subject, feel free to hop over to the lesscode thread and jump in.

Following the presentation next week, the fruits of my – and hopefully a few other contributors – labor will be made available here under our standard Creative Commons license terms.
