How Not To Spend Your Weekend

So just as the weather warms up, the boats come out, and you can walk around in shorts and a t-shirt, I’m getting ready to move. My timing is, as always, highly suspect.

Apart from a family visit on Saturday, I spent most of the weekend (apart from a break Sunday to sit in the hammock, kill a few Shipyards, and listen to the Sox game) packing for my forthcoming move to Denver. Packing, for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of indulging in it recently, is one of the two or three worst ways to spend any free time, let alone the first really beautiful weekend in Maine. But my time here in the East grows short.

Barring any unforeseen events and last minute snafus, I’ll be closing on my new home this Friday in Denver, where I’ll be remaining till mid next week. Availability on Friday of this week and Thurs/Fri of next week will be minimal to nonexistent. Same deal for this afternoon, as I’m meeting with the RedMonk accountant.

I’ll be putting my full travel/availability schedule for the next three weeks up on the wiki shortly, but for this afternoon, if you need me try my cell (617.320.9757).
