This is Unreal

I’m sure it’s old news by now as I’ve been offline all day at the conference, but I just checked this out and all I can say is: unbelievable. I’ve written before about how Google’s real trick isn’t the tricked out UIs – as impressive as they tend to be – but the marriage of disparate data stores, but this is ridiculous. The skeptic will might say, “Neat, but how helpful is it really?” I can’t answer that for you, but when I checked acouple of different test locations it was great at providing locational context. Here, for example, is where I am for the next 24 hours.
