Supposed to be Travelling Today…

I am currently scheduled to be heading out to Lotusphere tonight from the Portland Jetport (PWM). The only catch, of course, is the blizzard we’re currently experiencing. My PubSub airport feed informs me that Boston’s Logan is already closed, and while the weather folks said on Friday us Mainers would miss the heavy stuff, that’s not looking too accurate at the moment. There’s a blizzard watch – not winter storm watch, an actual blizzard watch – in effect through 6 PM, and I’m now seeing total accumulation predictions of around 12 to 16 inches. Add it up, and travel today doesn’t seem particularly likely.
