As many will have noticed, the source code for the Apollo 11 mission was posted on github last week. Suffice to say it’s popular.
Given everything else that has been happening in the world over the last few months, it is lovely to see so many people appreciating history, and just how difficult this project would have been. All of us working in technology are only here because we have the privilege of standing on the shoulders of giants. We owe it to those coming after us to learn from those that have gone before.
