Apache Playing with Solaris 10 Zones?

Via John Sequeira, it looks as if some of the folks from Apache are playing around with one of the more interesting non-DTrace features in Solaris 10. Interesting. I’ve been looking at the prospect of Zones from a managed service/application hosting perspective as it pertains to ISPs, but hadn’t really considered it in the context of Apache-style collaborative development projects.

Also worth noting that Gregor’s comments vis a vis some of the idiosyncrasies of Solaris are reminiscent of some of the nitpicks Senor Bray has mentioned previously. For some folks, it would seem that Open Solaris can’t come soon enough ;)
