Stefan Ferber talks about the Bosch Foundation’s structure which is enabling exploration of open source network solutions and development. He highlights the different needs, problems and viable solutions for both the makers of things, and the builders of service platforms. Eschewing current patterns of IoT connectivity Stefan imagines ‘pattern 42’ the connected solution of everything, proposing that the only way forward is for a truly open sourced shared network.
