My favorite?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Butcher<\/p>\n<p>In Australia, the butchers have a secret language called \u0093rechtub klat\u0094 that they use to gossip about customers without getting caught. The code is formed by speaking words backward. Old-timers could have entire conversations in the language, but these days a core vocabulary of about 20 to 30 essential words are used. Sometimes, if a word can\u0092t really be pronounced backwards, a couple of letters will be traded around (e.g., \u0093tish\u0094 for \u0093shit\u0094), or the first letter might be pronounced separately (e.g., \u0093bmal\u0094 is pronounced \u0093beemal\u0094). The most common words are:<\/p>\n<p>\u0097kool, toh lrig<br \/>\n\u0097cuf ecaf<br \/>\n\u0097on erom feeb\/gip\/bmal<br \/>\n\u0097traf<br \/>\n\u0097toor<br \/>\n\u0097doog tsub<br \/>\n\u0097tish<br \/>\n\u0097doog esra<br \/>\n\u0097gaf<\/p>\n<p>Nothing is more enjoyable than shouting at the top of your lungs to the other butchers that the difficult customer right in front of you is a \u0093on doog cuf ecaf.\u0094<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kalsey.com\/tools\/buttonmaker\/\"><b>Button Maker<\/b><\/a> from the Kalsey Consulting group. Now you can make all of your own cool blogging icons.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/update.mozilla.org\/extensions\/?application={ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}\"><b>Googlebar<\/b><\/a> for Firefox. An oldie, but a goody. I know a lot of Firefox folks who miss their Googlebar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/webalerts\"><b>Google Webalerts<\/b><\/a>, while still a beta service, are a big help for monitoring news about me, RedMonk, or my clients. As an example, we have one that searches constantly for &#8220;RedMonk&#8221; and shoots over matches as they arise. Beats clipping services, that&#8217;s for sure. This is a likely forerunner to personal search agents, done very simply.
