Just a quick note to let everyone know that I’ll be out of the office tomorrow, as I’m headed up to Aspen for a hut trip. For those of you unfamiliar with the term – which included my colleagues – it involves snowshoeing or cross-country skiing to a hut (AKA a cabin) up in the mountains, sleeping there, and then shoeing\/skiing back out. <\/p>\n

Heading out in about a half hour to pickup supplies; somehow I got stuck with lunch and wine. Apparently it’s a tradition to sit around after a long day’s hike and drink a bit of wine around the fire. Whoever picked me to bring the wine made a grave mistake, but fortunately I won’t be the one paying the price as I plan on sneaking a few High Lifes<\/a> up there. <\/p>\n

For a variety of reasons, I haven’t been up to the mountains as much as I would have liked this winter, so I’m very much looking forward to this. As long as we’ve got all this snow, I might as well try and enjoy it. Also have worked out a weekend stopover in Maine a couple of weeks from now in conjunction with a trip to Boston, so I’ve got that to look forward to. <\/p>\n

Anyway, I’m told cell coverage is poor to quite poor where I’m staying tomorrow, so you’ll probably have to wait till Monday to hear back from me. Longer if it’s email, but you knew that. Meantime, enjoy your weekends.
