There are many things that can brighten up an analyst’s day – bringing on an important new client, getting positive feedback on your work from the people you respect (thank most recently to Eric, Mike and Martin for their kind words on the blog), feeling that you’ve helped and really had an impact on an existing client, working with some great reporters, getting an early look at cool new products, really nailing an analysis, etc.
But nothing, and I mean nothing can top the Sox being 1-0 in the playoffs, while the Yankees are 0-1.
It’s just one game of course, and there’s a long way to go, but talk about putting a smile on my face for the day 😉
