And there was me thinking [Infoworld](http://www.infoworld.com/) [has all the best tunes](http://www.redmonk.com/jgovernor/archives/000624.html).

ZDNet tracks media interest, charting [cnet vs blogosphere, on Longhorn buzz](http://blogs.zdnet.com/Research/?p=211&part=rss&tag=feed&subj=zdblog).

I am a fan of [news.com](http://news.com.com/), with its concentration of [reporting](http://news.com.com/Sun+modernizing+Solaris+start-up+process/2100-7344_3-5748561.html) expertise (Stephen, Martin) and editing (Mike Riccuitti) and opinion (Charles Cooper), but now I am seeing some green shoots of integration between the team and [ZDNet](http://blogs.zdnet.com/). Blogs are, not surprisingly, helping to munge it all together. [Dan Farber and David Berlind](http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/index.php?p=1513) are doing a good job (disclaimer: Dan said something nice about me this week). I am increasingly RSS feeding, and feeding from, ZDNet properties. They are clustering which makes them more interesting. maybe be its just in my aggregator, [bloglines](http://www.bloglines.com/), rather than through some “corporate strategy”.

My point though stands that i am getting some good information and insight from all these media properties.

Infoworld may still be [ahead on tagging](http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=infoworld+udell+tagging&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official), but it was nice to see the buzz measurement from ZDNet. Cool.
